Career/Life Plan Long Form

Overview

The purpose for this long-form of your Professional Career Plan is to have a road map or blueprint for your professional life. This blueprint will need to be adjusted for reality from time to time. Like any plan it is your attempt to predict the future, while it will be amazing how well it works to developing your professional education, it will not be perfect. The plan needs to include the following four sections that summarize your previous research and writing:

Career goals
Educational plan
Experience plan
Implementation plan

Assignment Description:
Your task with this project will be to create a long-form for your Professional Career Plan. Lay out the material you have produced so far in your career work and form it into the four sections listed above.

After you have completed your rough draft, read it through for readability and completeness. You should also show a copy of your Professional Career Plan to others you trust and feel can make a contribution to your plan. This plan will be the basis for the next exercise: making a short-form Professional Career Plan.
